The documentary explores the bizarre narrative of Steve Glew, a desperate factory worker in rural Michigan who found himself at the center of a worldwide trade conflict after spotting a moneymaking opportunity in Pez candy dispensers. Steve Glew made millions of dollars smuggling rare Pez dispensers into the United States from Eastern Europe during the 1990s. Everything was magical until his arch-enemy, The Pezident, betrays him.
