The announcement trailer for Alia Bhatt’s upcoming movie, Jigra, has been released by Dharma Productions. Vasan Bala’s film appears to be a story of a sister’s love for and willingness to sacrifice for her brother. She is seen waiting in a roadway with neon lights and billboards all around her. The actor’s voiceover may be heard saying, “Dekh mujhe. What is my rakhi pehenta now? You have my mere protection. Kuch bhi hone nahi dungi tujhe main. Look at me, Kabhi bhi. Do you really wear my rakhi? You are protected by me. I’ll make sure nothing bad happens to you. Ever).”

Dharma Productions posted the video on Twitter and stated, “@aliaa08 is back to put up a brave fight like no other for her #Jigra! The Vasan Bala-directed film JIGRA will open in theatres on September 27, 2024.
