The story is set some 300 years ago in the Comanche Nation. A young competent Comanche of the Comanche Nation Naru fights against the wilderness, perilous colonizers, and an unidentified beast.
She defends her community from a highly evolved and technologically sophisticated alien predator that attacks humans for amusement. “Prey” is breaking ground as the first movie to be dubbed in Comanche and the first movie to have a Native American language version screened alongside the English version.
