Phases 5, 6, and Beyond for All Upcoming Marvel Films and Web Series

What to Expect From the MCU Over the Upcoming Years is Listed Below.

Marvel Studios isn’t showing any signs of stopping down anytime soon, even if the superhero movie weariness has never been so glaringly obvious. In order to properly develop its secondary cast of superheroes and tie them into the main narrative, the franchise primarily leaned on the TV series format as the Multiverse Saga rolled in. We’ve seen some blockbusters, like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which marked James Gunn’s departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as other duds, like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which received harsh criticism for its shoddy visual effects and weak plot. The franchise is already in its fifth phase, and the release schedule has undergone a lot of changes.

The continuous Hollywood labour strikes, which have put off several film and television productions till 2023, may be blamed for a large portion of it. Whatever the case, fans have a lot to look forward to, starting with The Marvels on November 10. In this film, astronaut Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), and the three of them embark on a mission to uncover the mysteries of the destabilised universe after their powers entangle. But a month earlier, Tom Hiddleston returns to Loki season 2 as the titular God of Mischief, promising more time-traveling adventures. It will debut in October and also features Sophia Di Martino, Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), and Owen Wilson as agent Mobius M. Mobius of the Time Variance Authority. Two significant Avengers team-up films are also introduced in the Multiverse saga: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in May 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars in May 2027, both of which were rescheduled when Disney revised their release schedule in June. Due to the aforementioned strikes, the development of the eagerly anticipated Charlie Cox-starring Daredevil: Born Again series, which was initially scheduled for a 2024 release, has now been postponed indefinitely. The title of the movie Agatha: Coven of Chaos, starring Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza, has also changed; it is now known as Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. As part of Marvel’s aim to stretch out key titles and make each production feel like a “event” for fans, the nine-episode series has now been delayed till autumn 2024.
