Evil Dead Rise

The movie Evil Dead Rise follows three sisters, Teresa, Caleb, and Jessica, who come together to fight an ancient evil. Teresa is the studious one, reading Wuthering Heights, while Caleb plays with his drone and Jessica is sleeping off a mysterious sickness. An earthquake opens up a hole in the basement of the building, and Danny finds a book and records that could fetch some money. Neighbors pitch in but cannot do much in the face of elevators filled with blood and demonic records. The movie is beautifully shot with several eye-catching sequences, including the carnage from the peephole perspective and the face caught in the slice of a murderous mirror.
